Maximize the capacity on your 2011-style magazines with the CSRG Competition Follower & Spring Kit!

Our kit includes the following: 

  • CSRG 2011/1911DS Competition Follower, made from durable nylon
  • CSRG 11-coil or 13-coil Competition Spring (made by ISMI)
    • We recommend using 11-coil springs for 141.25mm magazines
    • We recommend using 13-coil springs for 171.25mm magazines
  • Competition follower does NOT lock the slide open after firing the last round
  • 23/24+1 capacity when used with 141.25mm Atlas/Checkmate/Staccato magazines (with competition-style basepads)
  • 29/30+1 capacity when used with a 171.25mm Atlas/Checkmate magazines (with competition-style basepads)
  • We recommend using a loading tool such as an UpLULA to achieve best results, and to fully load and unload the magazine a minimum of three times to set the spring in order to avoid malfunctions induced by excessive spring/feed lip pressure. 
  • Using this kit may still require you to tune your magazine tubes. CSRG is not responsible for malfunctions caused by out of spec or poorly tuned magazine tubes.

We have tested this spring kit in the following magazine tubes: 

  • Atlas
  • Checkmate/Staccato 
  • SVI

This is NOT compatible with MBX Extreme magazines.

    Exactly as advertised, fits 24 rounds in my 140mm Atlas mags, haven't had a chance to fire through them, but cycling my 124 grain dummy rounds no problem!

    I ordered 3 3-pks of the Altas mag body spring and followers on Monday, they were in the mailbox that same week. Every one of them were exactly the same, without variances. They all fit nicely into the Atlas bodies. I was recommended this product from a shooting buddy. Told me it’d make my mags 24 + 1 instead of using the manufacture springs holding only 21 + 1. Huge difference in stage planning and execution. Thank you CSRG for making a great product affordable!!

    This follower/spring combo dropped right into my Atlas 140mm magazines and work fine. I’ve only shot one match with them but they ran flawlessly.

    I've been using them for a couple matches now and so far they are working 100% in both the 140 and 170 mags.

    Bought these as it’s all I could find for my atlas mags that was in stock. Was a little hesitant but they actually work very well. Very pleased with the follower have not had a single malfunction.

    replaced the springs in atlas mags I was having issues with. Solved. Ran like a sewing machine.
