Maximize the capacity on your Mec-Gar Glock magazines with 24-25+1 (reloadable) with the CSRG Competition Follower & Spring Kit!
Our kit includes the following:
- CSRG Mec-Gar Glock Competition Follower, made from durable nylon
- CSRG 11-coil Competition Spring (made by ISMI)
- Due to excessive spring pressure, we do not recommend using 13 coil springs with the Mec-Gar magazines.
- Competition follower does NOT lock the slide open after firing the last round
- 24/25+1 capacity when used with Springer Precision 140mm magazine extensions and full-size factory magazine tubes
- We recommend using a loading tool such as an UpLULA to achieve best results, and to fully load and unload the magazine a minimum of three times to set the spring
We have tested this spring kit and Mec-Gar Glock magazines in the following models:
- G17/19/45/47
- Stealth Arms Platypus
- Staccato P HD 4.5
- Fusion Firearms XP Pro (magazine fitment may vary with Fusion guns - test your Fusion to make sure it will fit Mec-Gars before buying this kit)
Please note: A steel magazine release or Springer Precision magazine release is absolutely required for Mec-Gar magazines to function properly. The plastic OEM magazine release will eventually round out and induce failures, ultimately causing the magazine to fall out unintentionally.
This product is only compatible with Mec-Gar Glock magazine tubes and will not function properly in an OEM or any other manufacturer's tube. These followers are designed only for range and competition use. This follower and spring kit are not intended for duty use.

Most of them work
I ordered 6, and 5 out of the 6 work. One on the followers is just a hair to narrow and will jump out of the feed lips. Haven’t put many round through the functional ones yet

Unfortunately a no go for me…
Like other reviewers mentioned the follower needs to be redesigned, gets stuck around 4th 5th round. Sure you can load 24rds but follower gets jammed up after 4th round, wish I could post pictures to show how follower does not even seat correctly in mag without any rounds loaded…horrible design.

Mecgar glock mag spring & follower
Works great! Needs almost no break-in, the next day is the match, 25+1 on all 4 mags. Springer Precision base pad is the go-to for this, Dawson is a bit tight, when 25+1 it will slow down the slide after the first round, but no malfunction for me.

Spring and follower kit for Mec-Gar Glock magazine
Installed in mags with both a Springer Precision extension and a Dawson extension . Both held 25 rounds and functioned without any issues , in both a Glock 17 and Platypus. Time will tell how they hold up.

Have 3 of these in my mecgar glock mags with springer basepads. Works great with the continuous precision steel mag release. Haven't had any issues and I can jam in 25. Great product.
